Get Linux on the machine

OmenPrep runs on Windows, patches your DSDT, and bakes the fix into a Fedora, Ubuntu, or Arch install ISO. After install, two scripts lock ACPI in and can bring up keyboard RGB.

  1. Get Linux installed

    OmenPrep on Windows patches your DSDT into a Linux ISO so you don't fight ACPI tables by hand during first boot.

  2. Kernel driver

    WMI-backed `omen-rgb-keyboard` module: per-zone RGB, animations, fan RPM and curves, thermal presets, mute LED sync.

  3. OMEN Gaming Hub

    Desktop app for RGB, fans, vitals, and graphics switching - the companion UI for the kernel driver.

  4. ACPI / firmware

    FirmwareLens to explore DSDT/SSDT dumps, the online patcher to apply fixes, and model-specific ACPI work where stock tables block Linux.
